Patricia Shanks
is an voiceover talent and Emmy® Award-winning writer. She is a former Los Angeles Daily News arts and entertainment columnist, arts and entertainment TV news show host and producer, and the former host of a weekly radio jazz program for an NPR affiliate station.
She is a recording artist, singing music from the Great American Songbook, and she has sung as a professional chorister with major opera companies.
Patricia is a former executive director of the Ventura County Symphony and outreach program coordinator and director of volunteers for the Los Angeles Da Camera Society. She has served on boards and committees for Directors of Volunteers in Agencies Los Angeles, Beach Cities Symphony Association, the OC/LA Chapter of Media Communications Association Int’l, Orange County Multimedia Association, a branch of the Music Teachers Association of California, and the Los Angeles Branch of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and the Media Alliance of Orange County (MAOC).
